BioScience Strategy for Washington State

In 2006, the Washington Biotechnology & Biomedical Assocation (www.wabio.com) facilitated an extensive planning group whose mission was to develop a comprehensive life sciences strategy for our state. Many groups including businesses, colleges, universities, government, research institutions, and community based organizations provided input into this report.

The report titled: “The future of Life Sciences in Washington” is a comprehensive document that details recommendations on how to improve the business climate, research development, capital formation, technology commercialization, workforce development, and education outreach to our citizens.
