Life Sciences / Biotechnology Career Tree

Dream BIG!

Ever wonder what types of jobs you could do with an Associate or Bachelor's degree? Well, guess what? There is a ton of stuff out there, and we just made it a lot easier for you to learn about what you could do and how much you could earn. It’s something called Career Trees.

A new initiative of the Snohomish County Workforce Development Council, Career Trees, shows you vital education, training, and apprenticeship options. There are Career Trees for nine high-growth industries or sectors:

• Aerospace and Manufacturing
• Business and Technology
• Biotechnology, Biomedical, and Nanotechnology
• Construction and Trades
• Education
• Health Services
• Hospitality and Tourism
• Public Services and Government
• Retail

The Career Trees are designed to be used along with the guidebook, "Where are you going? A guide to careers and education in Washington State," published by the Washington State Workforce Training and Education Coordinating Board.

To view an online version of this awesome guide go to: http://www.wtb.wa.gov/Documents/CG06_000.pdf

To view the Biotechnology, Biomedical, and Nanotechnology Career Tree, please click on the following link: www.worksourceonline.com/b/documents/2006BiotechCareerTree.pdf

Remember, you can print a copy of these documents.
Good luck and remember to dream BIG!
