Cell Therapeutic Incorporated (CTI) started in 1991 and its main
focus is developing new drugs for the treatment of cancer. As Executive
Vice President Scott looks at data from humans and animals about
the drugs that CTI is developing and then designs new studies.
In biotech everyone works together to study a drug over time and
then figure out the best way to get the drug to the market and
to patients. It takes about a billion dollars and 10-12 years to
develop a new drug.
